Three Facts
1. Seven million pets die each year. Donations
and volunteers help humane societies and
shelters save lives.
Can you donate or volunteer today?

2. 25% of dogs in shelters are purebred. Sadly,
breeders, puppy mills and pet stores contribute
to pet overpopulation.
Adoption is the loving option!

3. Mixed breeds are healthier, no inbreeding
means less genetic disease, lower vet bills and
happier dogs.
Get mad about mutts!
A NOTE FROM JENNY
Please understand that we are privately owned
and all of the money that comes into our shelter
stays in our shelter, strictly for the care of the
animals. We have had several ask as to why we
charge a fee to drop off , reclaim, and adopt.
We have been cussed out, called names, and the
list goes on as to what people have said about us
and to us! Despite us trying to explain they do
not understand. We house approx. 250-500
animals a month, so, we  go through 400lbs a day
of cat litter, 60 lbs of cat food, 100 lbs of dog
food a day, and this is just to feed and keep up
the animals it does not include our supplies that
we use!
Maybe this explanation will help spread the word
as to why we do the things that we do here!
Without the community support we would not be
as fortunate to have this shelter, so, Thank You to
everyone that has either donated by either giving
their time or food, or whatever it may be. I
appreciate it from the bottom of my heart!

A NOTE ABOUT OUR DAYS HERE
Our days here at the shelter start as early as
6:30 a.m. and sometimes it is difficult for us
to get to our phone. There are only 3 of us
here at all times and if we are attending to
our animals or customers, it takes a bit to get
to the phone. It takes all of us to make sure
that our babies are taken care of properly. So,
please be patient with us and leave us a
message and we will get back to you as soon
as we get a moment. We appreciate your
understanding and cooperation with this
manner.
Thank you,
Jenny, Jeff, Haley, and Furry Friends

unwanted garage sale items !
