Jeff Owens
Jeff (Jenny's cousin) is the
Asst facility Mgr. that helps
in the day to day care of the
animals and oversees the
adoptions, surrenders, and
reclaims. He also works daily
with the ACO's for the City
of Belton and Bell County
Sheriff's Dept. when the
animals are brought in and
logged.
Jennifer Owens
Jenny has taken on the task of being one of the few independently owned animal
shelters in the State of Texas that is not funded by the city, county, or the state. She
and her staff have the responsibility of taking care of the homeless, unwanted, and
abused animals across Bell County. Bell Area Animal Shelter has been in business since
June of 2006 after a building (that was a former vet clinic) was allowed to house and
help with the homeless pets, we work with over 300 rescue groups in placement of our
animals that can not be adopted. So, please stop by and adopt that special member of
your family today!
Meet the Staff

lady to ask. So, stop by and

of your family!
Smoke

of the very first animals in that wanted
to make this his home. He is 15yrs old
and can be found lounging around the
facility.

Montana is Jenny's baby that goes to work
with her everyday. She is a 14 year old blue
heeler that loves to play with everyone that
visits the shelter. So, stop by and say hello,
she will always greet you with a smile!
